Angus Keatinge
Principal
Founded the firm because the banks were rude and the coffee was worse. Specialises in sitting very still while a client talks themselves into the right loan. Signs letters in fountain pen. Has made peace with the public link.
Paul Kelly
Principal & Head of Credit
Joined in 1991 with a red pen and has not put it down. Can decline a file with kindness, which is rarer than a genuine fixed-rate special. Keeps the Reasons We Mustn’t ledger. Softened on software in 2023. Do not mention it.
Brenton Hartley
Associate
The young one. Seven years on the tools before he convinced the partnership that a fact find public link was not, in fact, a fad. Runs the scenarios. Still prints a summary for Margaret. This is called diplomacy.
Margaret Phipps
Practice Manager
Answers the telephone as if it still matters, because it does. Files everything. Trusts the public link only after she has printed the confirmation. If you visit chambers, she will offer you a biscuit. Accept it.
