Schedule of advice
Matters we attend to
We do not offer “products.” We offer advice, then a loan if the advice warrants one. The distinction has kept us in business since the Hawke government, and we intend to keep it.
Owner-occupied home loans
Purchase, construction (by appointment), and the occasional “we saw it on Saturday and the auction is Sunday.” We prefer notice. We will still help.
Investment and portfolio lending
Structuring across entities, serviceability that survives a second coffee, and a frank talk about interest-only before you hear it from a dinner party.
Refinancing
A review of the existing facility, a comparison conducted without theatre, and an application that does not require you to reprint 2011.
First home purchasers
Guarantees, grants, and the orderly correction of myths. We will explain LVR as if you have never been forced to google it, because many have not.
Self-employed applicants
BAS, add-backs, and accountant letters. Bring the shoebox if you must. We would prefer the fact find, which at least puts the figures in a row.
Guarantors and family assistance
Handled with the seriousness the Bank of Mum and Dad deserves, which is to say: slowly, in writing, and with everyone in the room.
Fees
Our fee is explained in person, as it has been since 1987. We do not hide it in a banner. We also do not make you complete a lead form to hear it. Start the application; we will talk numbers before anything is submitted to a lender.
The application is the enquiry
There is no separate “contact us about our services” form. That would be a second tray on Margaret’s desk.
